A lovely little piece in City AM on an upcoming divorce proceeding is getting interest on social media because of the way it frames the story. This reminded me of the recent book by Iris Bohnet on what works in enabling greater gender equality.
Bohnet, from the Kennedy School of Government, is pretty much the world expert on applying behavioural economics/ science to gender, and her book is a great example of how behavioural science can be used in domains which are often deemed too big/ complex/ challenging for it.
This article in the TLS is quite good on the book: https://www.timeshighereducation.com/books/review-what-works-gender-equality-by-design-iris-bohnet-harvard-university-press
Her work and the ideas it stimulates deserves a much bigger audience.
